Chef Terry Bell, or “Chef T” as everyone calls him is the owner of TGB ProFoods.  He is also the official Team Chef for the 2016 World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers.  Working out of their practice facility in Independence, Chef T. has the opportunity to combine two of his personal passions: his love for culinary arts with his love for professional sports.  He works closely with the team to provide meals for the team, coaches, staff and front office during team practices, games and for special events at the Cleveland Clinic Courts Facility.  He has been a part of the Cavalier’s family for nine seasons, and couldn’t be more proud of his role with the team. 


Prior to starting his own food services business, Chef T. worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years.  His first job was as a dishwasher in his hometown of Macedonia, Ohio.  It was in that kitchen that he discovered his calling.  He graduated from Sullivan College in Louisville, Kentucky with a degree in Culinary Arts and has been cooking ever since.  He has always had a very simple philosophy around food- “I like to create food that people enjoy eating”.  Since being with the team, he has partnered with nutritionists and dietitians to find creative and delicious options to meet the specific nutritional needs of the team.  “There is no special recipe for eating healthy- start by choosing ingredients that are fresh and nutritious.  And don’t be afraid to try something new.” 


In addition to cooking for the team, Chef T.'s latest endeavor is TGB Prepared Meals- a new division of TGB ProFoods that provides wholesome and delicious meals for the busy family who wants more time at the dinner table with less time in the kitchen.  In his free time, Chef T.  enjoys appearing in videos for the Cavalier’s and Cleveland Clinic.  You can see some of his creations on the Cleveland Cavalier’s Facebook page and on the Cleveland Clinic’s online Health Hub.
